I discovered Chinese Medicine when I had a shoulder injury that left me barely functional and in tremendous pain. After experiencing the effectiveness of Chinese Medicine I enrolled in Acupuncture graduate school. While there, I further found a passion for reproductive health and established Island Acupuncture with that focus in 2010. I hold a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine; I am a Board Certified Fellow of Acupuncture and TCM Reproductive Health Medicine and have been licensed and practicing since 2008.
I value education and partnerships, and have intentionally created a holistic learning space that focuses on the whole person by collaborating with patients to empower them to take charge of their health. I aim to bring wellness and balance to every patient who steps through my doors, integrating acupuncture, herbs, supplements, current research and western labs.
My pronouns are they/she, I am genderqueer/non-binary, married to the love of my life and have an adult aged child. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, traveling, reading, crafting, crocheting, knitting, coloring and enjoying all that the Bay Area has to offer. I
